Candidates who wish to work on the post of government teachers in the schools of the center could apply for the CTET Teacher Eligibility Examination from 04 February 2019. Through the tables created below you can see some important dates related to the CTET 2019 exam.

CTET Admit card has been released at the official website of cbse candidates who have filled tha application form and submitted it before the last date with all the documents and fee can download the CTET 2019 Admit card now. Admit card is hosted on the official website of CBSE candidates can also download the admit card from the link provided on this page also.

CTET 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Applicants applying for CTET 2019 need to complete at least one condition from this list of eligibility criteria. The Eligibility Criteria for Classes 1 to 5th Class is different and eligibility criteria for the teacher for the 5 to 8th standard are different. Observe the eligibility criteria we have mentioned below-

Minimum qualifications for classes 1 to 5

  • Candidates who want to give CTET entrance examination should have minimum 50% marks in Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) and join the final year of two-year diploma (whether known by any name) in elementary education or have passed.
  • Either the minimum 45% marks in the Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) of the candidate, as well as the NCTE (Recognition criteria and procedures), in the final year of the two-year diploma in elementary education (whichever is known by name) as per Regulation 2002. Be or pass.
  • Either the candidate should have a minimum of 50% marks in Senior Sector (or its equivalent) and also join or qualify for the final year of 4-year elementary education (B.El.Ed).
  • Either the candidate should have a minimum 50% marks in Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) and join or become successful in the final year of 2-year diploma (special education) in education.
  • Either a candidate may join or pass the final year of graduation and two-year diploma in primary education (whichever is known by any name).

Minimum qualifications for classes 6 to 8

  • Candidates who want to take the CTET entrance examination for classes 6 to 8 should be graduates or join the final year of two year diploma in elementary education (whichever is known by any name) or qualify.
  • Either the candidate’s graduation should have at least 50% marks and one year’s education will be included or graduated (BEd).
  • Either the candidate’s graduation should have at least 45% marks and in this regard as per the NCTE (Recognition criteria and procedures) Regulations, join the graduate (BEd) in one-year education from time to time or get passed.
  • Either the Senior Secondary or Candidate (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks in the candidate and in the final year of Bachelor (B.El.Ed.) in four-year elementary education or passing.
  • Either the candidate should have at least 50% marks in Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) and be included in the last year of four year BA / BSc Ad or BA.DE / B.Sc.Ed or passed.
  • Either the candidate’s graduation should have at least 50% marks and join one year’s BEd (special education) or get passed.

Age Range

  • The applicant age must be at least 18 years for CTET.

CTET 2019 Application Form

CTET is organized by the CBSE every year, those who wish to be absorbed in the post of teacher are required to pass the CTET qualification examination. Applications for the CTET exam to be held on 07 July 2019 this year have ended. The applications were available on the official website of CBSE from 05 February 2019 to 05 March 2019.

CTET 2019 Application Fee

The applicant will have to pay the following application fee for the seat examination. Normal / OBC will have to pay 1200 rupees (for both I and II papers) and Rs 700 / – for a paper. Reserved category ie SC / ST / PH will have to pay 600 / – (for both first and second paper) and Rs 350 / – for inclusion in only one paper.

How to apply for CTET 2019 exam?

  • Please tell the candidate who wants to apply for the application, first of all, go to www.cet.nic.in, the official website of ctet and see.
  • Then click on the online application now.
  • Now after that you register for CTET. Save this registration number for further processing.
  • Instructions will be displayed on the screen, read them carefully.
  • You will now see CTET 2019 application on screen. Now fill the online application with all the details.
  • Now after this click on the next, upload your pictures and copies of the signed scan.
  • You can now submit application fees online. Such as Net Banking, Invoice, Debit Card, Debit Card etc.
  • Now when you have finished everything, click the submit button.
  • Now you can download the hard copy of the application form.

CTET 2019 Course

The CTET 2019 Examination Paper will be a multiple-choice question paper. The duration of the examination will be two to one and a half hour and every question will contain every 1 point and there will be no negative points against the wrong answer. Two papers will be held in the morning session for class IV and in the evening session of class VI-VIII. The questions will be based on topics like Child Development and Education, Mathematics and Environmental Studies, Social Studies and Social Science.

Paper 1

Standards of nature and questions:

  • The test items of child development and teaching science will focus on the relevant teaching and educational psychology for the age group of 6-11 years. They will concentrate on the characteristics and needs of diverse learners, understanding of the qualities of interaction with learners and a better facilitation of learning.
  • Test items in Language I will focus on related abilities through education.
  • Test items in Language II will focus on the elements of language, communication and understanding capabilities.
  • Language II language will be a language other than I language. A candidate can choose any language as the language I and as a second language language and the second of the available language options must be specified in the confirmation page.
  • In Mathematics and Environmental Studies, test items will focus on the concepts of topics, problem solving capabilities and academic understanding. In all these subject areas, test items will be distributed evenly on various divisions of the curriculum prescribed for Class IV by NCERT.
  • The questions in the test for Paper I will be based on the prescribed subjects of the NCERT’s Class IV course, but their difficulty level can be as well as contact, secondary level.

Paper 2

Standards of nature and questions:

  • Examination items on Child Development and Teaching Science will focus on educational psychology of relevant teaching and learning for the age group of 11-14 years. They will focus on the attributes, needs and psychology of diverse learners, interaction with learners and the qualities and qualities of a better facilitation of learning.
  • Test items in Language I will focus on related abilities through education.
  • Test items in Language II will focus on the elements of language, communication and understanding capabilities.
  • Language II language will be a language other than I language. A candidate can choose any language as the language I and as a second language language and the second of the available language options must be specified in the confirmation page.
  • Mathematics and science will focus on the test items, and the concepts of social studies / social science disciplines, problem solving capabilities and academic understanding. Mathematics and science test items will be 30 points each. The test items as determined by the NCERT for Class VI – VIII will be equally distributed on different divisions of the course of that subject.
  • The questions in the test for Paper II will be based on the topics prescribed in the NCERT course for Class VI – VIII, but the standard of their difficulty, as well as the relationship, can be up to the senior secondary level.

CTET 2019 Answer Key and Question Paper

The CTET 2019 written examination will be held on 07 July 2019 in various examination centers across the country. The exam will be held in two shift. The examination of Paper 2 (Class 6 – 8) will be held in the first shift and Paper 1 (class 1 to 5) will be held in the second shift. After the end of the examination, the CBSE will release the issuance of the exam of July 2019 written by CTET.

CTET 2019 Exam Result

The validity of Central Teacher Eligibility Test Certificate for appointment will be for seven years from the date of declaration for all categories.

However the date of issue of the Marks Sheet has not yet been announced. It is worth mentioning that this time the mark sheet will be released in digital format. Marks sheet candidates will be released in DG Locker The QR code will be given in the digital hellus sheet. Candidates can scan the QR code through the DG locker app on their smart phones. DG Locker account of all the candidates will be opened. The information given on the registered mobile number of the candidates will be given. Candidates will have to enter the information requested there. After this, the candidates can download their mark sheet.
