He spends many years of his life studying medical science. Once they gain theoretical and practical knowledge about this field they are fully trained to handle this profession which is their goal.
The medical profession has evolved over the centuries and is still evolving. Medicines and treatment of various diseases which were not available earlier have now developed. Medical technology has also progressed over time. If we have good doctors and medical facilities in our vicinity it gives a feeling of relief because we know that we have the means of immediate help.

Many students aspire to enter the medical profession and become doctors. The first step in this direction is to appear for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) every year to select students for MBBS and BDS courses in government and private medical institutions across the country. If you want to appear in this entrance exam then during your 11th and 12th grade you must have Physics, Chemistry and Biology as major subjects. A minimum percentage criterion is also set. Students who pass the entrance examination are also required to pass in counseling so that their admission is considered as sure.
While people rely on doctors for their lives, some cases in the past have shaken their faith. Doctors are required to be faithful to their profession.
In India, doctors are given a high status. Although the healthcare industry in India is not the same as the developed countries of the world, but we have a good facility to study medicine and there is a group of talented doctors for this, yet India has a long way to go in healthcare.

The government has set up several government hospitals. Many of these have a good infrastructure but most are not well managed. There is a lot of corruption at various levels in the healthcare industry. Everyone wants to earn money even if it costs someone’s health.
Employees working in government hospitals are also not committed to serving patients properly. There have been many cases where the report proves to be false and patients do not get the medicine on time. Apart from this, when it comes to the supply of medicines and medical equipment in the hospital, mismanagement is seen.
Not only patients, doctors also face such problems. The duty of doctors is to examine the patient, correct the problem, treat and monitor the patient’s condition. However due to shortage of nurses and staff, doctors are also forced to perform various tasks. The time that doctors spend to analyze reports and monitor the patient’s condition is spent on wasteful tasks such as injecting and transporting patients from one ward to another. This work creates burden on the doctors and dissatisfaction among them.
Can we trust doctors ?
As stated above private hospitals and nursing homes are being set up for the purpose of doing business and not with the intention of serving the public. This has been proved through repeated fraud cases. Due to the aspect of faith, people in India these days hesitate to get treatment from doctors. Many people prefer to take medicines at home for the common cold, flu, and fever because they believe that doctors may increase the issue unnecessarily.
Although a person does not visit the doctor for common cold and mild fever, but if the condition worsens then should not be ignored. It is important for doctors to build trust while performing their duties honestly.
The field of medicine has evolved over time and the knowledge of doctors has increased. India has discovered cures for various diseases since ancient times. Miraculous medical practices are prevalent here, which help to give new life to people. He had various methods of cataract cure, dental surgery, plastic surgery and more.

Need for good and responsible doctors
India is known for the quality of its talented mind. Not only do people from different parts of the world come to our country to get the help of ancient medical science and Ayurveda, but also to get treatment through the practice of Indian doctors who have knowledge about the methods of modern medicine, whose worldwide There is a lot of demand. Since the medical degrees offered in Indian universities are not recognized in many parts of the world, many medical students in our country now go abroad to complete medical courses.
People are attracted towards developed countries because they provide higher income and better standard of living. Seeing the possibilities of better qualifications, many qualified doctors leave India every year from abroad. Many others go on to study medicine abroad for the purpose of eventually settling there. One of the basic requirements of improving the health care system in our country is to be a good doctor. The Government of India should take steps to improve medical facilities in the country as well as to prevent talent migration.
Why are aspiring doctors settling abroad ?
In the last few years there has been an increase in the number of Indian students going abroad for medical degrees. There are many reasons for these students to settle abroad. Apart from this, better job prospects, ease of entry abroad is also one of the main reasons. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is conducted in medical colleges across the country to select students for medical and dental courses which is relatively difficult. Every year most of the students appearing in this exam fail to get admission and thus many of them choose to go abroad to pursue a medical degree.
The infrastructure of medical colleges and research opportunities abroad is much better than in India and the working status of doctors is the same.
While doctors are highly respected in India but going abroad always attracts medical professionals due to the reasons mentioned above. Government of India should take steps to provide better working conditions for doctors.
