JEE Main 2020 – National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the date for the JEE Main 2020 exam. JEE Main Examination is conducted twice a year in the months of January and April. The Joint Entrance Exam is the national level examination is conducted for admission in B.Tech, B.E., B.Arch, B.Plan course. JEE Main January 2020 exam applications will start from 2 September 2019. Class 12th pass candidates can apply for JEE Main Jan 2020 . The application Forms will be released on the official website of JEE Main jeemain.nic.in. JEE Main 2020 Application Form

JEE Main 2020 application forms will be released on the official website. further detailed related to JEE Main Jan 2020 Application Form .

The Application Process is completely online and Online Form for January Session starts from September 2, 2019 and the last date for the same is September 30, 2019.

To Completely fill the application form candidate have to follow this process – JEE Mains 2020 Online registration > Application Form Filling > Uploading for Images and Documents > Payment of Application Fee > Submitting and taking it Printout

Candidates are requested to go through the JEE Main Eligibility Criteria before filling the Form.

JEE Main 2020 Application Correction

Once the Registration process is over, NTA will open the one time JEE Main Application Correction windows.

Candidates who have made any mistake while filling the application form can correct those details through this process.

The Correction Windows will open in the first to last week of October 2019 for January Session and for April this will open in the month of February 2020.

In order to correct mistake in the application form students have to pay the additional amount of fee. Complete JEE Main Correction facility is online.

This Process must be done by the candidates before the last date of JEE Main Application Form Submission.

JEE Main 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for the JEE Main 2020 exam, the candidates must check their eligibility. To appear in the examination, the candidates have to meet the eligibility criteria set by the NTA.

  • Candidate must have passed class 12th examination.
  • Candidate must have passed class 12th with at least five compulsory subjects – Maths, Physics, any one Subject from Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology or any Other technical Vocational.
  • If you are Diploma holder then you can only apply in IITs.
  • Candidates who have have passed 12th exam in 2018 or 2019 are only eligible to apply. if you are appearing in class 12 in the year 2020 then also you can apply.

Institute Wise Eligibility

For admission into IITs, CFTIs, NITs and other institutes, you must have secured 75% Marks ( For ST/SC – 65%) in class 12th exam.

JEE Main 2020 Syllabus

Candidates appearing in the NTA JEE Main exam should know about the JEE Main Syllabus. Most syllabus of JEE Main Paper 1 and 2 exam is from CBSE class 11th and 12th.

Paper I will contain various topics from the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics studied

Paper II Syllabus will contain topics from the Aptitude, Mathematics and Drawing sections.

Kinematics, Thermodynamics, Laws of motion, energy and power, Properties of solids and liquids, Current electricity, Optics, Electromagnetic induction and alternating currents, Kinetic theory of gases, Physics and measurement, Electronic devices, Rotational motion, Oscillations and waves, Work, Gravitation, Electrostatics, etc.

Mathematics

Inorganic Chemistry: Classification of elements and periodicity in properties, D – and f – block elements, Hydrogen, Block elements (alkali and alkaline earth metals), Block elements group 13 to group 18 elements, Environmental chemistry, etc.

Organic Chemistry: Purification and characterization of organic compounds, Chemistry in everyday life, Organic compounds containing halogens, Some basic principles of organic chemistry, Organic compounds containing nitrogen, etc.

Paper II

Part I: Awareness of persons, Analytical Reasoning Mental Ability (Visual, Visualising three dimensional objects from two dimensional drawings, Visualising, Materials, places, Numerical and Verbal), Buildings, etc.

Part II: Understanding and appreciation of scale and proportion of objects, subtraction, rotation, harmony and contrast, Transformation of forms both 2 D and 3 D union, Creating two dimensional and three dimensional compositions using given shapes and forms, building forms and elements, colour texture, etc.

JEE Main 2020 Admit Card

Admit cards of all the candidates who will apply for JEE Main 2020 will also be issued. JEE Main 2020 Admit Card will be issued only to those candidates who have completed and submitted their application on time. 

The admit cards of all the candidates will be issued on the official website of JEE Main. Candidates will have to download their admit card through online. 

After downloading the admit card, the candidate should take out its color printout and do not forget to take it to the examination center with a valid ID proof. Admit card is very important for the exam. The information related to the exam such as exam date, examination center, etc. is given on the admit card.

JEE Main 2020 Answer Key

The Provisional answer key will be released a few hours after the JEE Main 2020 exam. Different coaching releases the JEE Main 2020 Answer Key. Through the answer key, candidates can check their questions and answers.

JEE Main 2020 Scorecard

Candidates can download their Score Card through online mode mode. NTA will not send it through any offline mode

JEE Main 2020 Rank List

JEE Main 2020 Rank List will be released by NTA once the result is declared. Rank will be allotted to candidates on the basis of marks he /she have secured in the exam. In the official rank lists candidates Category and all india rank will be mentioned.

JEE Main 2020 Merit List

Merit list of JEE Main 2020 papers 1 and 2 will be released by NTA.  The candidates must know that the merit list of both the exams will be taken out simultaneously. The candidates who will pass the JEE exam will be admitted on the basis of All India Rank. After passing the JEE Main , you can take admission in different IITs, NITs, private institutes.

JEE Main 2020 Cut Off

NTA will the JEE Main 20202 Cut off through online mode. in order to appear for the centralized counselling, it is mandatory for the candidates to get the minimum cut off marks required. The cut of marks will be released category wise.

JEE Main 2020 Counseling

Counseling rounds will be organized by different NITs, IITs and private technical institutes after the declaration of JEE Main result. Admission will be given to the candidates based on the JEE Main score. Candidates will also have to pay registration fees for appearing in the counseling round. You can get more information of JEE Main Counseling 2020 from the official website.

What is the difference between JEE Main Exam and JEE Advanced Exam?

JEE Main Exam is the preliminary examination which is done to check your knowledge and skills. After passing this exam, you can take admission in NIT, IIT and CFRTI. JEE Advanced exam can only be given by the candidates who can clear the JEE Main exam and get admission in IIT.
