Open Basic Education (OBE)

NIOS OBE is a three-level course in which students who are unable to get basic education can get it with the help of this program. Open basic education programme is further divided in 3 Level courses which are:

OBE ‘A’ Level course: This program is equivalent to class 3 education

OBE ‘B’ Level course: This program is equivalent to class 5 education

OBE ‘C’ Level course: This program is equivalent to class 8 education

Class 10 / Secondary Course

NIOS Class 10 course is made of those students who are unable to complete their Class 10 through the regular medium due to any reason. Through this open learning method at secondary level students can register for Class 10 Exam and complete their schooling.

The Admission process of the Secondary exam is 100% online. Students can register for the Secondary Programmes through various methods such as online, or visit the study center or regional center. Before proceeding for the admission registration make sure students fulfills the Class 10 Eligibility Criteria

NIOS Secondary Exam

Class 12 / Senior Secondary Course

NIOS Class 12 course is for those students who are wishing to peruse their Senior secondary examination through Open mode. Students just have to collect the study material from the regional study center and prepare by themselves.

The admission process for this is also completely online. Students need not go anywhere they can register at the comfort of their home or if they face any difficulty they can visit the Study or Regional center for help

D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education)

NIOS deled is a two-year Diploma in Elementary education program for all in-service untrained teachers. With this programme NIOS is targeting to train all the in services teacher which are not trained earlier. With their training package institute provides 2 challenging and innovative year to these candidates to make them learn the more efficient teaching skill and empower them to provide quality education to the classroom
