- For admission to postgraduate courses, the candidate must have a degree in subjects related to a recognized institution in India.

TMBU, also known as Bhagalpur University, is a public university in Bhagalpur, Bihar, India. It was established on 12 July 1960, with local colleges initially associated with Patna University. Its campus is about 264 acres (1.07 km 2) in an area. 1991 The name was changed from Bhagalpur University to Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University in memory of a freedom fighter Tilka Manjhi.
