CAT 2023 Notification: Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow, has issued the official notification for the Common Aptitude Test (CAT) 2023. The CAT Notification 2023 is now available on the official website iimcat.ac.in. The CAT 2023 exam is scheduled to take place on November 26, conducted in three sessions.

Here are some important details about CAT 2023:

  • Registrations for CAT 2023 will begin on August 2 at 10 am and end on September 13 at 5 pm.
  • Admit cards will be available for download from October 25 to November 26, 2023.
  • The exam results are expected to be declared in the second week of January 2024.
  • The validity of CAT 2023 scores will last until December 31, 2024, and will be accessible on the website accordingly.

Eligibility for CAT:

  • Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% for candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories) awarded by any recognized University.
  • Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification examination, and those awaiting results after completing degree requirements, can also apply. However, if selected, they must submit a certificate from their University/Institution stating that they have completed all requirements for obtaining the degree on or before the stipulated date set by the respective IIMs.

Important Dates for CAT 2023:

  • Registration opens: August 02, 2023 (10:00 am)
  • Registration closes: September 13, 2023 (5:00 pm)
  • Admit card download: October 25 – November 26, 2023
  • Test date: November 26, 2023
  • Result declaration: Second week of January, 2024 (Tentative)

Registration Fees for CAT 2023:

  • ₹1200 for SC, ST, and PwD category candidates.
  • ₹2400 for all other categories of candidates.

About CAT 2023:

CAT is a mandatory exam for admission to various Post Graduate and Fellow/Doctorate programmes offered by IIMs. CAT 2023 scores can also be used by listed non-IIM member institutions. However, IIMs do not play a role in the selection process of non-IIM institutions.
