Bhupendra Narayan Mandal University was established on 10 January 1992. The university is named after Bhupendra Narayan Mandal, a freedom fighter from the region. BN Mandal University is located in Madhepura, Bihar. Many colleges have been accredited from this university. These include B.Ed College, Law College, Engineering College, Medical College etc.
