Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana has been started by the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Mr. Bhupesh Baghel. Through this scheme, ₹ 9000 per acre input assistance will be provided to the farmers of the state. This amount will be given to the farmers producing maize, kodo, kutki, soyabean, arhar and sugarcane. Apart from this, if paddy was sold by the farmer at the minimum support price in the year 2020-21 and instead of paddy, the farmer plants crops of Kodo Kutki, Sugarcane, Arhar, Maize, Soybean, Pulses, Oilseeds, Aromatic Paddy, Banana, Papaya etc. Farmers who plant trees will be given input assistance for 3 years.
The budget of CG Kisan Nyay Yojana has been fixed by the government at ₹ 5100 crores. All the farmers of the state are eligible to get the benefits of this scheme. The decision to launch this scheme was taken by the Finance Minister while presenting the budget for 2020-21. ll

Objective of Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana
The main objective of this scheme is to increase the production of farmers. This increase will be done by providing grant money to the farmers. This grant amount is provided annually to all eligible farmers. All the farmers will be encouraged to increase the production of crops by receiving the grant amount. Through CG Kisan Nyay Yojana, the income of farmers will also increase and they will be able to become self-reliant and empowered. The standard of living of the farmers will also improve through this scheme.
Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana Implementation
CG Nyay Yojana will be implemented at the district level through the District Level Monitoring Committee constituted by the Collector. The monitoring and inter-departmental coordination of this scheme will be done by the State Level Monitoring Committee constituted under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary. Apart from this, the applications received under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana will be verified by the district and field level officers of the Agriculture Department in their respective areas. This verification will be done as per the guidelines of the government. If any wrong information has been entered by the farmer in the application form to get the benefit of this scheme, then in this case the amount of benefit will be recovered from the farmer.
The goal of Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana
Under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, Rs 74 crore 24 lakh has also been paid to the sugarcane producing farmer. There are 34292 farmers in the sugarcane producer category. A target was set to pay Rs 5 thousand 702 crore 13 lakh to all categories of farmers under this scheme so far. Out of which Rs 4 thousand 597 crore 86 lakh has been paid. Under Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, about 18.38 lakh farmers are provided the benefit amount directly in their bank account. These farmers include 9.54 lakh marginal farmers, 5.60 lakh small farmers and 3.21 lakh large farmers. In this scheme, financial assistance is provided on 14 crops. Which are Paddy, Maize, Soybean, Groundnut, Sesame, Arhar, Moong, Urad, Kulthi, Ram Til, Kodo, Kutki, Ragi and Sugarcane.

Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana Eligibility
Under Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, all categories of landowners and forest leafers will be eligible, but institutional land holder farmers and Regha, Bataidar, leafy farmers will not be eligible for this scheme. The provisions of all agricultural land ceiling laws will be followed while determining the eligibility of farmers. Apart from this, if a farmer is registered and dies, then in this case the nominee will be paid the input assistance amount. Eligibility for Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana
- All categories of landowners and farmers holding forest lease are eligible to take advantage of this scheme.
- Input assistance will be provided only on the crops included under the scheme.
- To get the benefits of this scheme, it is mandatory to register on the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana portal.
- In the relevant season, the data of Girdhari maintained on the Bhuiya portal and the crop and area mentioned in the application of the farmer, whichever is less, will be considered for the calculation of input assistance amount for the said crop or area.
- Institutional land holders, sharecroppers, lease farmers are not eligible to take advantage of this scheme.

Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana Guidelines
- The data of all these registered farmers will be validated for Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Yojana and for other crops another portal will be started by the Revenue Department which will have area wise, crop price coverage.
- Input assistance amount will be calculated for other crops except paddy, maize, sugarcane producing farmers. For which data will be collected from Bhuiya portal.
- The verification of the application form will be done by the Agriculture Extension Officer. After this, the farmer will have to register himself in the cooperative society and submit Form One along with all the necessary documents. This required document is loan book, Aadhaar number, photocopy of bank passbook.
- In this scheme, benefits will be provided only on those crops whose information is given in the guidelines. Apart from this, the benefit of this scheme will not be provided on any other crop.

Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana Verification Process
- It will be mandatory for those farmers who will plant other crops to get themselves registered with the concerned Primary Agricultural Credit Cooperative Society.
- The verification of the registration form will be done by the Rural Agriculture Extension Officer.
- This verification will be done through the data of Girdawari. Which will be available on the Bhuiyan portal.
- After verification, the farmers will be able to register themselves in the cooperative society.
- The registration process has to be done before February 28.
- In registration farmers have to submit all the important documents like loan book, Aadhaar number, bank passbook photocopy and registration form.
- Under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, assistance will be provided only on those crops which are included under this scheme.
- Those farmers who have not registered themselves cannot avail the benefits under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana.
- On the basis of the database that will be received under this entire process, through the nodal bank, the assistance amount will be directly transferred to the farmers’ account through direct benefit transfer.
