Central University of South Bihar is a central university located in the state of Bihar, India. This university has been established by the Central University Act 2009 (Section 25 of 2009) and the Act, 2014 (CUSB). Presently the university is conducting its administrative and academic activities from the temporary campus in Patna and Gaya in Bihar. It was established in the name of Bihar Central University which was later changed to South Bihar Central University. The current Vice-Chancellor of Central University is Professor Debdas Banerjee.
