Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for the RRC Group D Recruitment 2019, candidates are suggested to satisfy themselves that they fulfill all the eligibility measures such as age, educational qualification, medical standards, and other required measures.
Candidates should assure that they have necessary qualifications from recognized Board/Institute as on the date of Cessation of online registration i.e. April 12, 2019. Candidates who are waiting for the results of the final examination for the prescribed qualification are not eligible and hence should not apply.
Candidates who have been restricted by any RRB/RRC either for life or for a specified period which is not yet made should NOT apply for this notification.
Application Form
Admission to all the stages of RRC Group D Recruitment 2019 will be purely provisional, directed to the candidates satisfying the prescribed eligibility criteria. The application form for the recruitment should be submitted online to the selected Railway Recruitment Board with complete and correct information of the candidates. Only single online application has to be submitted by the candidate to the RRB/RRC of their choice for all the mentioned posts of that RRB/RRC through the link given on the official website. Modification of Application Form
If any candidate requires to make any minor change in the online application to correct inattentive errors in the application after the final submission. Then they will be provided by the opportunity to perform the same. In order to make changes in the already submitted application candidates will be required to pay the modification fee that will be non-refundable. Candidates note that they cannot change the selected Railway, email and mobile no in the online application.
Admit Card/Hall Ticket (e-call Letter)
After the successful submission of online application, candidates will be able to receive the Admit Card/Hall Ticket (e-call Letter) for CBT, PET and Document Verification. When the e-call letter will be available, intended candidates will be intimated by sending SMS or email messages on their prescribed Contact no. and email id mentioned in the application form. Candidates will be able to download their admit card from the official website of RRB they will select. We will also provide a direct to download the admit card for the CBT.
Recruitment Process
The whole recruitment process will include Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Document Verification and Medical Examination. Computer Based Test
All the eligible candidates who will submit the online application on time with the required application fee will be able to appear in the Computer Based Test (CBT). CBT will be held on the specified date, time and venue as per the e-call letter to be downloaded by the candidates from the websites of RRBs/RRCs. The candidates who will qualify the CBT with required marks will be able for the further recruitment process i.e Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

Marking Scheme:
- 1 mark will be granted for each correct answer.
- There will be negative marking for incorrect answer.
- ⅓ mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
Answer Key
After the conduction of CBT successfully RRBs/RRCs will publish the Answer key for the questions of the test. The answer key will be published on the official website of various RRBs/RRCs. The candidates who will appear in the test will be able to match their answers with the Answer Keys to have an estimation of their score in the CBT. Candidates note that it will not be the final result. The final result will be declared by the authority after the declaration of Answer Key.
Result
The result of the CBT will be declared by RRBs/RRCs on their official website. The result will be updated in the form of merit list that may consist of the Name or roll no of the qualified candidates. The shortlisting of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the computer-based test. The candidates who will qualify the CBT will be called for the further recruitment process by the authority. They will be informed about the same via SMS or email on their specified contact no or email address.
Physical Efficiency Tests (PET)
Candidates who will qualify the Computer Based Test successfully will be able to appear in the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Candidates will be called for PET Three times the community wise total vacancy of the Posts suggested toward RRBs/RRCs. Passing Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is necessary and the same will be passing in nature. The candidates who will be invited for further document verification on the specified time, date and venue.
Document Verification
Candidates will be called for Document Verification as per their merit and options based on the performance of candidates in CBT subject to their qualifying in PET. Candidates will be appointed as per their qualifying essential Medical Fitness Test to be organized by the Railway Administration, final verification of educational and association certificates and verification of precursors/character of the candidates.
Normalization Of Marks
Selection of applicants for various stages will be based on the normalized marks obtained by them whenever CBT is conducted in multiple sessions for the same syllabus. The normalization scheme to be adopted for shortlisting the candidates from CBT to PET (as applicable) and for document verification is detailed below:
Calculation of normalized marks for the multi-session paper: In CBT, the examination may have to be conducted in multiple sessions. For these multisession papers, a suitable normalization is applied to take into account any variation in the difficulty levels of the question papers across different sessions.
